Hi there my name is Asiri and welcome to my ePortfolio. I am so glad you have found my ePortfolio and I hope you will enjoy it. I will be using my ePortfolio as a reflection tool to reflect on the trials and tribulations and the many victories that outnumbered the defeats both inside and outside of the classroom. While you are visiting my ePortfolio, you will also see some of my best work on display from each of my classes. Additionally, you get to learn a bit about me, my goals as they relate to the immediate future and many years down the road, and some of the many life lessons that I have learned outside of the classroom that have shaped me into the person I am today.
"Practicality beats purity"
I recently had a great opportunity to join with the Arimac Lanka Robotics team as an Intern - Electronic Engineer. The team consists of amazing talented people. The experience I have been having with the Robot operating system would be a great value to my portfolio. It is the only humanoid robotics team in the country. Look forward to see more initiatives in this amazing technology vertical.
I am following an Electronic and Telecommunication engineering undergraduate program offered by the University of Moratuwa. As of now, I am the assistant treasure of the IEEE communication society. I love to experience new tools and technologies. I am good at mathematics, innovative thinking, strategic thinking as well as learning technologies.Embedded hardware and operating systems, Computer Programming, Robotics, IoT and Product development are my most favourite fields.
When it came to the old days, I studied in Ananda college and actively participated in several clubs and societies. I was a swimmer in the school and also completed the surf life saver certification in 2015. Then volunteered as a member of the college life saving team at the mount Lavinia beach every Sunday evening. These things helped me to improve my soft skills. .
